Southern Cross University Rising Stars Awards

The Rotary Club has been presenting an annual scholarship to a student studying at Southern Cross University.

The award is made to the student who has achieved the highest second year result studying a Tourism course at the Coffs Harbour Campus.

This year Inekia Small was the recipient of this recognition, presented By President Peter Richardson and the University Vice Chancellor.

Inekia is currently undertaking work placements in Brisbane and hopes to undertake event management as a career.

Inekia is the first member of her family to gain a university qualification and her Parents and Grandparents were on hand to see the presentation

Our Club also had an opportunity to connect with University staff on the day.
