Rotary Community Shelters

Rotary Community “Nguura"- Southern Foreshores Wayne Glenn Walk

Nguura is the aboriginal word for shelter, hut or house.

Our project will provide the much needed shade and picnic area shelters for our community. We are sure you are aware of the huge volume of people who visit this area of the harbour foreshores each day.

The Wayne Glenn Rotary walk provides a level link from the “Gallows” car park to the “South Wall “and as such is used by all sectors of our community on a daily basis. These include-

People with mobility issues, the frail, those recovering from illness or surgery and young families.

There was an urgent need to provide strategically placed shade shelters and drinking water for those most in need.

The Rotary Club of Coffs Harbour has now completed this much needed community project and thanks all of the community minded business's  for your assistance by either a cash or in-kind donation of goods or labour.

The project was supported by CHCC.
