Donation to Petes Place

Next >

The Rotary Club Of Coffs Harbour today Presented Anna Scott from Pete's place with a digital Thermometer. The Digital Thermometer will allow Anna to monitor temperatures of the homeless people she comes across at Petes Place to ensure that they too have the opportunity to seek medical help should it be required.

Rotary sees it as helping out a very disadvantaged part of our community.

Petes Place provides Laundry and Showers for this sector of our community and was built as a partnership between the Rotary Club of Coffs Harbour South and St Vincent De Paul. The service got it's name from a benefactor who provided the funding to get the show underway.

The Rotary Club of Coffs Harbour is proud to help, continuing the great work done by our now defunct sister club. Many of its members are now a part of our club, retaining those connections.
